Preamble:
In the file read at (1) with reference to the letters from DHO of Shivamogga and Chikkamagalur to provide free treatment for all the KFD positive patients irrespective of their socio-economic status under AB PMJAY CM's Ark as most of these patients are migrant workers from other States who work as daily wage labours, Suvarna Arogya Suaksha Trust explains about the Kyasanur Forest Disease, proposal for free treatment for PHH (priority house hold) & other General category beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharath Arogya Karnataka Scheme.
In the file read at (2) received from Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust, explains about revision of the package rates for KFD procedures similar to ward charges proposed as per HBP 2022 package rates and addition of two codes as add on code for treating complications arising out of KFD.
The government has scrutinized the proposal and hereby issues the following order:

In the view of Kyasanur Forest Disease season and the reasons explained in the preamble of this order, Government hereby approves to provide cashless treatment for all KFD patients, irrespective of economic status (Priority House Hold and Others) in the State of Karnataka, under AB PMJAY CM's Ark scheme.
Government also hereby approves revision of the package rates for Kyasanur Forest Disease as per the proposed HBP 2022 rates (Annexure) after getting the same approved through expert committee following duly prescribed procedure.
