The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced an important opportunity for candidates who could not apply earlier for the 22nd Edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).
A total of 21 editions of CTET have been conducted so far. The result of the 21st Edition of CTET was declared on 30 March 2026.
CTET 2026 Online Application: Important Update
As per the earlier Public Notice dated 8 May 2026, the online application window for CTET 2026 was open from 11 May 2026 to 10 June 2026.
Now, considering the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court regarding providing eligible teachers a reasonable opportunity to fulfil the statutory requirement of acquiring the prescribed TET qualification, CBSE has decided to reopen the application portal.

Who Can Apply?
