Reliance Scholarship 2026-27: Applications are invited for the Reliance Foundation Scholarships 2026-27. Eligible students pursuing undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes can apply for financial support under the Reliance Foundation Scholarship programme.
Under this scholarship programme, Undergraduate students can receive up to ₹2,00,000 over the duration of their degree programme, while Postgraduate students can receive up to ₹6,00,000 over the duration of their PG programme.

What is the Reliance Foundation Scholarship?
In December 2022, on the occasion of the 90th birth anniversary of Shri Dhirubhai Ambani, Founder-Chairman of Reliance, Mrs. Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, announced a commitment to provide 50,000 scholarships over ten years.
Since 2022-23, around 5,100 students are supported every year through Reliance Foundation Scholarships, including:

- 100 Postgraduate students

Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships 2026-27
The Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships 2026-27 are open to first-year students enrolled in a regular, full-time undergraduate degree programme in any stream.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a resident Indian citizen.
- Must have secured at least 60% marks in the Class 12 / 2nd PUC Board Examination.
- Must have enrolled in the first year of a regular, full-time degree programme in the academic year 2026-27.
- Students from any stream may apply.
- Annual household income must be less than ₹15 lakh.
- Applicants must complete the mandatory Aptitude Test.

Who Cannot Apply?
The following students are not eligible for the UG Scholarship:
- Students studying in the second year or above.
- Students who started their course in 2025-26 or earlier.
- Students pursuing online, hybrid, remote or distance-mode degree programmes.
- Students who have completed a Diploma after Class 10.
- Students pursuing a 2-year or 6-year undergraduate degree programme.
- Students who do not complete the mandatory Aptitude Test.
- Students found cheating in the Aptitude Test.
Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships 2026-27
The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships 2026-27 are offered to first-year PG students pursuing selected programmes in areas considered important for the future.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a resident Indian citizen.
- Be enrolled as a first-year PG student in 2026-27.
- Meet either one of the following academic criteria:
- GATE Score between 550 and 1,000, or
- UG CGPA of 7.5 or above.

What Does the Aptitude Test Cover?
Verbal Ability:
English language, grammar, error spotting, sentence completion and reading comprehension.

Analysing given situations, identifying the root cause of a problem and finding appropriate solutions.
Numerical Ability:
Ratios, percentages, number sequences, data interpretation and other mathematical questions.

- Ensure that their face is clearly visible in the video feed.
- Keep the camera and microphone switched on.
- Share the screen feed before starting the test.
- Complete the test independently.

Selection Process
The Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship selection process is based on merit-cum-means.

There is no separate interview round for the UG Scholarship.
For the PG Scholarship, shortlisted candidates may be invited for a personal interview during the final selection stage.
How is the Scholarship Amount Paid?
For selected scholars, the scholarship amount is transferred directly to the scholar’s bank account each year. The scholarship applies for the duration of the eligible degree programme.
Can Students Apply If They Already Receive Another Scholarship?
Yes. Applicants must disclose details of any other financial assistance or scholarship they are currently receiving while completing the application.

Income Certificate
Applicants can begin registration even if they do not have an income certificate when starting the eligibility questionnaire.
