The knowledge, innovative ideas, creativity and active participation of India’s youth will also play a crucial role in shaping the nation’s future.
With this objective, the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, in collaboration with MY Bharat and MyGov, is organising the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027. The first stage of this initiative is the Viksit Bharat Quiz.

The Viksit Bharat Quiz is more than just a general knowledge competition. It aims to increase awareness among young people about India’s history, development, achievements and the vision of making India a developed nation by 2047.
The quiz is being conducted through the MY Bharat platform and provides an opportunity for youth from different States and Union Territories to participate on a common national platform.
The quiz is available in multiple Indian languages and covers various aspects of India and the concept of Viksit Bharat.
It also encourages young participants to think about an important question:
“What can I contribute to the development of my country?”
Selected participants will get opportunities in subsequent stages to present their ideas on a national platform.

There is no entry fee. Each candidate can participate only once.

Five Stages of the Viksit Bharat Challenge
The selection process will be conducted through five major stages:

- District Championship
- State/Union Territory Level VBYLD
- National VBYLD in New Delhi
At the district level, the best essay entries will be shortlisted for the next presentation stage. Top-performing participants will then get an opportunity to progress to the State/UT-level VBYLD.
